Mitt Romney is a much better man than a partisan politician. The lurker Twitter Account demonstrates this. It would have never come to light if he wasn’t honest enough to freely admit its existence.
His seat will be safe in Utah, but he has no future in GOP leadership if the Trump transformation continues. in his heart he is more independent than a republican. He should declare being an independent and caucus with the GOP. He could even play a bigger role in the congress if he did so. Many potential votes could be up for grabs if he fought for what he believed in as an independent.
