He should probably be expected to win this one. But if he doesn't it's a huge blow to Trumpism.

Nice touch this week being reminded that Moore once agreed with a radical radio talk show host that we'd be better off if none of the Constitutional amendments after the first ten had been passed -- you know, minor stuff like abolition of slavery, women's right to vote, etc. In that radio show Moore actively argued against the 14th amendment because it forced the states to follow the first ten amendments. Nuts.

It is Trump 2.0. Either way you vote you will feel like you have to take a shower afterwards.

Not really. Jones is a typical southern Dem. But Moore would be one of the scummiest people ever elected to the senate. One is someone you can just disagree with over politics who is otherwise a decent person. The other is truly a vile piece of crap individual who has built a political career by preaching Christian values he doesn't follow.

It’s deeply troubling if you don’t see Jones as clearly a better choice than Moore.

Jones is a moderate democrat. Our country is better when more moderates are in office.

Few dissenting voices? Like Mitch McConnell the majority leader? Hell, Richard Shelby the other Senator from Alabama says he's not even voting for him.

You do realize that if they kick this guy out the Republican Governor can just appoint another guy like Luther Strange? They have every possible incentive to remove him.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

The Fox News poll looks like an outlier, and I kind of hate to say it because this guy's entrance into the Senate and his possible removal will be a circus.

I expect Trump, aiding by fine public servants like Orrin Hatch, would win out over the rational voices and Moore would get seated.

McConnell already walked back his earlier statements.

Contemporary. Not 1920s. Nice try at an Anne Coulter response.

                                1920s? Ha! We're talking 1960s and 70s, at least.
