You guys see the news this morning on Harvey Weinstein? Apparently, he hired ex-Mossad agents to dig up dirt on his accusers or reporters who were about to expose him and use that information to threaten them to keep silent.

Another hypocrisy: It took Netflix two days to cancel House of Cards when a 32 year old accusation came to light about Spacey. But Netflix just ordered another season of The Ranch, starring Danny Masterson, accused and investigated by the LAPD for raping 4 women between 2001 and 2003. These rapes were similar and were disturbing. (Google Donkey punch) The cases are with the DA's office to decide whether they are going to seek and indictment.
Perhaps the difference is that there is much more abuse that is recent and happened on the Netflix HOC set and will come out in the future, and Netflix producers were aware of these accusations. Whereas Netflix just purchases The Ranch from a separate production company.

It's all about timing. Here is actress Constance Wu's scathing indictment of the Academy to even nominate Casey Affleck for Best Actor for Manchestor by the Sea. Before Affleck won. If the nomination had happened this year instead of last year...?Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostLouis CK’s accusers were about 3 months too early to be believed I guess.

That's a funny tweet. The Fish allegations are also kind of funny. The worst one being that he grabbed a woman around the neck 10 years ago and left a red mark (no one used the term strangle) and that he said one woman's lipstick tube looked like a dildo. He also rubbed a few women's shoulders without their permission.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post
Okay, he's not a great guy, but it seems like HuffPo and others are now looking for any semi-major figure that has every uttered the word "dildo" at the office to string up.

Especially if more accusations are likely to come out. This is blowing up:Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostAny normal innocent person would just say I didn’t do that and wouldn’t do that.
The whole “I don’t remember but must have been drunk” statement is so ridiculous. Who is giving him advice?

This one has a semi-funny twist:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/481293...h-buy-silence/
He exposed himself to some kid and came on to him and then realized that was dumb and offered the kid a £5K watch to shut up. The kid takes the watch and the next day Spacey's "people" call him to try to get the watch back. He lied and told them he didn't have it but then sold it shortly thereafter for £3.2K.

That's an awesome graphic. I was also perplexed that his apology segued into a coming out party. "Actually I think I really am an ass man. I mean I still likes em big up top, but I need to do some soul searching and come to terms with this revelation. Thanks for your continued prayers and support."
