  • Gunman wounds Congressman and aides at baseball practice in Virginia

Some guy shot up a Republican baseball practice, shooting Rep. Steve Scalise of LA and several other congressional aides. The gunman was shot by congressional police and later died in custody.

Things are going nuts in the world. It seems there is some kind of crazy event here or in Europe every day.

very scary. It would have been even worse if capitol police weren't on hand projecting a member of leadership.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

50 shots with only 5 hits. Does that not scream total Lib? I can guarandamntee you had the shooter been some "Red-Hatter" raised hunting in South Dakota or Idaho he would have had a much higher hit ratio.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Amen. Hopefully this will bring about better laws keeping guns out of the hands of democrats.

Or at least start the discussion about common sense baseball control.

Can we all agree that it's not okay to shoot people who disagree with you?

The political vitriol has hit a crescendo. Hopefully people can tone it down a bit. Trump has been especially bad but I'm still surprised that the liberals have followed suit and even surpassed his horribleness at times. I expected them to take the high road and now I'm wondering why I expected that.

That doesn't make a lick of sense. You mock democrats yet considered them to be fundamentally better people?

They like to claim moral superiority, especially while touting acceptance and love for everyone. I guess I bought into that moral superiority during the Obama years when the GOP was the really vitriolic ones. Now I guess I realized they are both really bad, especially on the extreme sides of the spectrum. Bernie's followers are really not much different than the Cliven Bundy group.
