If I said I was uncomfortable standing at a urinal and a gay fellow was looking over the stall. This isn't a joke. It has happened and I am uncomfortable.
Would I be considered a homophobe

I would say that if you don't want any guy, gay or straight, getting a peak of your bits and pieces, then, no, you're not a homophobe....you're modest. If it's just gays that bother you, and I could take a look and say, "Hey, byu71, Penis looking great today," and then we high-five and talk about chicks, man--then maybe you're a homophobe."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I'm just happy to know that 71 still stands when he pees.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I worked at a place where a guy was gay. I got along with him great and had no ill feelings about him. However, when I was in the bathroom and he walked in, I got uncomfortable. That was the only place I was uncomfortable around him.
It has nothing to do with modesty or maybe it does. Would a women feel uncomfortable with a man hanging out in a bathroom with her because of modesty or is it something else.
I guess if I could walk into bathrooms where the chicks are, maybe I could overcome the problem with a gay guy being in the bathroom with me.

That's not where I was going. My point was simply that if he walked away without a word, he was most likely disappoint with what he saw and you have no worries.Originally posted by byu71 View PostI worked at a place where a guy was gay. LOL, unless gay guys have higher expectations than the gals, their walking away dissapointed would never be the case.Originally posted by cowboy View PostThat's not where I was going. Was the guy a liberal Democrat? If so, you could rip off Winston Churchill's line when, while standing at a urinal trough outside the House of Commons, the eminent Liberal David Lloyd George pulled up next to him. Churchill took an exaggerated step away from George, who sneered, "Feeling a bit standoffish today, Winston?" Churchill replied, "No, David, but every time you see something large you wish to nationalize it."

If you're equally uncomfortable in the women's restroom or in a co-ed restroom, I wouldn't worry about it.
Personally, I don't have a problem with the co-ed restroom or with gay guys in the men's room. Everyone has naughty bits and if they want to look at mine...so be it.

I have bashful bladder syndrome, so it's not an issue for me. I use the stall. I can't pee if anyone's looking at me unless I'm in the swimming pool.

What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

You would get more replies to your posts if they were less funny. Not to be critical, but how the heck do you expect us to measure up to something like that? I know it's an old joke, but it is still funny, and nothing can really be added to make it more satisfying (except maybe a passing comment about how, here in America, things aren't nationalized until they are in full decline...but that would be in poor taste so I'll leave it alone.) Just being a little less funny, leaving room for a topper, would keep many of your posts from dangling unanswered, and it may keep you from feeling so blue and unappreciated.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostWas the guy a liberal Democrat?
