I knew there was a good reason that the Cowboys lost to the Packers... Damn you Jones for letting a cheesehead into the Cowboys box!

Dude, you're just a privileged rich white male who doesn't care about the working classes and the rights and lives of millions of people! You either simply don't know how utterly hurtful and hateful your words are, or even worse, you know but don't care about the literal anguish and pain you are causing as you side with evil.Originally posted by Eddie View PostHoly cow those responses show that there are a ton of self-righteous ass holes in this world. That's a fair point, but I've already reconciled it. I heart Tom Brady.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak View PostCan't wait until Ellen sits next to Trump at a NY Giants game and yucks it up.

I heard recently about a football coach that stopped recruiting or having any interest in about 15 prospective recruits because of their social media activity.Originally posted by falafel View PostThat perfectly fits the Chappelle bit from above. So ridiculous.
I have a 16 year old. He does some incredibly stupid crap on a daily basis, some of which he puts on social media. I fear for his future, along with the future of all kids growing up right now. Sheesh.
So I imagine that football programs probably highlight 40 to 50 kids they want to follow and then narrow it down from there. But to eliminated simply due to being an idiot on social media is not a good way to start.
I can confirm that the recruiting game is played out almost exclusively on social media. My daughter is only on instagram, but that is where 100% of her contacts with coaches have come from. First they follow her and she will follow back, then they will DM with some interest. If he shows them some love they will ask for a number to call and set up a time to talk.
Now that I think about it, I hope she is vetting those well. Sounds ripe for some creepy predator.

I agree, unless it’s a case of hermaphroditism or something.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostYeah if you want to have women’s sports at all then you’re going to have to have rules that ban transgender females and those with too much testosterone.
It’s OK. It’s a God-given right to live and work and to marry as the gender of your choice but not to compete athletically only against the gender of your choice.

And the reporter that dug up the tweet from Carson King is now under fire for past tweets:
This mentality is so stupid.
For me it brings to mind the scripture from 2 Nephi 28:8
And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God—he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.
