I've been meaning to post a thread on this for a long time. While there are many worthy grassroots causes seeking fundage online these days, you can't help but run into some pretty ridiculous ones, too. Share those here. Paraphrases encouraged.

Dont mock her. She is very brave, even being willing to travel to places outside of the "contingent states" so she deserves lots of cash for that.

I thik an intersting thread would be a discussion of whether shame is a good or bad thing. I feel that we could use a bit more shame in our culture these days.

I hope my retired, dear, sweet mother never sees these. She's been trying to hit me up for years to pay for her to get a "master's certificate" in ayurvedic medicine (I think that's how it is spelled).

Someone finally gave her the cash because she is taking classes and writing a thesis on constipation in elders. *sigh*
