Doesn't this just prove that Iran is as evil, dastardly and undeserving of trust as Trump, Israel, Chuck Schumer and many other democrats at the time the deal was entered into claimed it was in opposing the agreement?
You have to use that preface because you resist any put down of Trump and fear monger about the left with poetic hyperbole. You’re definitely no Trump critic.
I’m sure some of it’s trolling.Last edited by frank ryan; 06-13-2019, 04:09 PM.

No, that was above our level. What we were wargaming was ground combat at the Bn/Bde level - specifically light infantry against tanks. I participated in three of the CPX's - we got waxed every time. We were basically track grease for the bad guy's tanks.Last edited by happyone; 06-13-2019, 09:41 PM.

I was reminded of the ships that were attacked in the 80s during the Iraq Iran war. One of the chapters of history was when the US destroyed most of the Iranian navy over the course of 4 days. Not long after, we shot down an Iranian airliner.
We have a lot of bad blood between our countries. A reckoning may be inevitable. I am tired of war in the Middle East.

Proved oil reserves in Iran, according to its government, rank fourth largest in the world at approximately as of 2013, although it ranks third if Canadian reserves of unconventional oil are excluded.[1] This is roughly 10% of the world's total proven petroleum reserves. At 2006 rates of production, Iran's oil reserves would last 98 years if no new oil was found."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I remember the reflagging of the Tankers - We had a kid from out ward envolved with that. He was on one of the escorting ships

Church Statement on Separation of Families at the US-Mexico Border
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has long expressed its position that immigration reform should strengthen families and keep them together. The forced separation of children from their parents now occurring at the U.S.-Mexico border is harmful to families, especially to young children. We are deeply troubled by the aggressive and insensitive treatment of these families. While we recognize the right of all nations to enforce their laws and secure their borders, we encourage our national leaders to take swift action to correct this situation and seek for rational, compassionate solutions.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Mexico releases full text of migration agreement that Trump inadvertently flashed to cameras
Trump: Mexico is doing more for the US on illegal immigration than Democrats are
[...]
The U.S. will also expand its “Remain-in Mexico” policy of returning asylum applicants to Mexico while their claims are processed. The U.S. committed to accelerate asylum claims while Mexico said it will “offer jobs, healthcare and education according to its principles.”
“Mexico will try very hard, and if they do that, this will be a very successful agreement for both the United States and Mexico!” Trump said last Saturday.
Now maybe Drumpf should threaten the Dems with tariffs to get them to do something other than to talk about impeachment all day.
BTW, I wonder how much assistance the CoJCotLDS provides for these poor immigrants to help keep their families together?
As ICE releases migrant families by the hundreds, churches and businesses step up to help
[...]
"I think the people that are helping don’t see this group of people as a demographic. It’s not about politics for them. It’s about people," said Susan Whetten Udall, the Arizona volunteer coordinator at LDS Immigrant Services, a program run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The program received a $7,500 grant from the church's headquarters in Salt Lake City to provide humanitarian assistance to migrant families being released in the Phoenix area, Udall said.
