  • Dawg going to West Point

Is he related to Goat? A Musher is there too, I think he went to CSI for a couple of years. And a Wilder wildcat who were once coached by Ferris Lynn is there as well. Legendary coach that won championships. Who says small town Idaho kids in small schools where you don,t get cut they beg you to play, and news does travel faster than light kids can.t go far?

So much we need to combing the schools for more programs, like they did to Uncle Teds, or East Jerome County, kids in small town America were small High School center of community going far. My aunt married someone whose kid said he almost got an appointment to Air Force from Larry Craig. He told a lot of stories that were not true. Former step kid of my Aunt. Pride of the town to get kids going there.

On miss knew a couple of kids from Apopka Florida that went to AFA cousins too. My extent of people I know that went to military academies.

He has his Congressional Appointments from both Senators Crapo and Risch. He must still be accepted by the Academy - the admissions department has far more say than Members of Congress or Senators these days. I am pretty confident he will be accepted - however. He has a really impressive resume. I coached him in track last year and the plan was hatched at the State Meet and we had about a month between the meet and him heading off to Louisville on his mission. He is a great kid and I am pretty emotionally, perhaps too much?, invested in his success.

State hoops tourney for the boys is going to be fun. I will be there for both the girls and the boys. Lets do lunch one day.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

      Fantastic.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Dist four only has two berths to state don,t know if ladies will make it this year or not. Get past Elvis MedinA alma mater and neighbor in not good smelling town maybe. Boys will go in as 1 seed. Won,t lose to conference foe. Clark County, maybe Summit and Matt Paradis,s hometown where my bro is track coach should make some noise. If you are dawg track coach and have kids go to state may see my brother there. Maybe dawgs will have to play at Canyon Ridge in Twin for state birth too as play in is district three and dist 5 and 6 this year.

Your girls are coming on at the end but I agree that both Richfield and Castleford are really good teams for our level. Speaking of Elvis, was there ever a kid who made a more wrong choice in which sport to play in college? I thought Elvis could have been a legit D1 SS but in hoops he was just another 6'2" good athlete who couldn't shoot real well but at our level could dominate with his mixture of size and athletic ability. Washed up after a year or two at JC in Yuma, AZ. On the other hand he might have been 24 in High School.

Now to the boys tourney. Sell on Clark County. They were lucky to beat us in Dubois. The spirit of that anti-mormon state senator must have been coarsing through the Bobcats veins that night. On their return trip we beat them pretty handily. Summit and your bro's boys will give you guys a running. My prediction for the 8 in are (top to bottom like the state braket):
          District V/VI A: Rockland
District I A: Genesis Prep (another team who I think might be pretty good but those Northern teams are like almost in Canada eh with their trapazoidal key)
          District III A: Council Lumberjacks
District IV B: Richfield or Carey but it matterth not as either will get their asses handed to them by the Jacks.
          District II A: Summit Academy
Winner of III B/V/VI B play in game: Clark County
District IV A: Dietrich Blue Devils
          District II B: Kendrick

Semi-Finalists will be Rockland, Council, Summit and Dietrich. Finalists will be Rockland and Dietrich and after of 144 years of Champions Rockland, ID will become a Championship Community!

Lunch is still on me. You can even bring your brother as I am interested in feeding the man who develops JT Mahon!

Rockland Ward relief society will they have to feed the town a coupe Saturday's this year? Looks like it. Jr Simplots alma mater there only win was to a Pocatello cleaning guru,s Alba mater the Blue Devils. Had a few close games though. I didn,t make it to North East Cassia County for that game, but heard that the fnb coach ad cane to some of our coaches wanting to know where our administrators were. A few fans kind of loud.

His own kids were chanting air ball oh there just kids, there fans were loud in our gym and threw stuff at refs while they were leaving bottles. He didn,t see it. Asked coaches were the administrators were when asked why we're is he wouldn't,t talk to us need to find him. There only win and may not want to play us. Are coaches many who happen to be in bishoprics had to tell them what they did take care of yourself. We had a few fouls so hard to press. Refs didn,t cost us, but fouling made it harder to press against Simplot and comp of mine,s alma mater. My comp his padre was a coach of several sports his tenure there. Last band something that hurts.

Many people in Spartan territory feel that school is better. If fam took offer from want to be bunny farmers of bovine don,t know if we would of been Spartan or hornets. They had good Xcode runner daughter they moved to Cali, but Xcode daughter graduated Spartan, neighbor of ours marrying present business associate whose siblings were Ricks bball standouts. Fan that wanted our bovines there could be related to some byu players, ab maybe and a good runner. Same last name, they have calf ranch south of Boise and big BSU fans. Have it painted on barn.

Last regular season game this year Friday we will play Swimmers alma mater. Should be good game and his alma mater is good team this year. Stop at Mcyd,s before game o avoid cried. Bill and Donna gave me three cheeseburgers when I paid for one, Bill and Donnas employees that is. long wait after game and cheer for Devils in finale against Swimmers alma mater.

And on to the state championship and silver anniversary of state tournament being celebrated by fire department escorting boys to town and relief society feeding town celebrating victory.

You know what they say about small towns, the deaths comes in threesomes. Some good people have left us, God Rest their souls.

Our coach went and watched y'all give Declo their only win. I hadn't heard that Dietrich fans can be so rowdy. My only experience with y'all was Nicki Larson's finest moment and I thought y'all were great. If you see Sister Larson at the wardhouse this week let her know that if we meet in the Semi's again this year and she gets the ball under 10 seconds and we have a lead I will leave the stands and tackle her.

I really like the best player at Swimmer's Alma Mater. Kid is one fast white boyeeeeeeeee. Given his size and speed I cannot understand why he was not a totally dominant on the gridiron. In fact he even quit foosball to run cross country this year.

Rockland thumped Mackay last nite in front of a raucous crowd at Firth High. We are in as the A Team from District V/VI. Good chance we will hook up with the legendary Acey Shaw and his Dietrich Blue Devils in the Semis. I hope you warn Nicole Larsen that I will tackle her if she touches the ball with less than 10 seconds on the clock. There will be no repeat of the 2014 State Semi no matter what ESPN and the mainstream media wants!

Earliest dawgs and Devils will play if they play is Saturday opposite brackets as Elvis,s town went down. Nip and tuck game, poor free throw shooting both ways but Devils able to make it a game and win. Will they be in Idaho Center next week, a north Idaho team, or maybe Dawgs and Matt Paradis and at some point Larry Craig's hometown could be there.

Heading over to game had a hard time finding parking spot. Could of gone across street got something and $20 cash back. Didn,t went with brother, his employer in front of us paid our way in wouldn't,t let us pay. I don,t have IHSAA pass maybe will get one if I coach next year. Car pulled out so we got decent parking spot. So had enough cash for meal. Already out of pizza so I had to settle for Chile Dog and Pepsi. Close game and a few vocal fans.

Boys will be great too. Could meet up. The b at player in Swimmers stomping ground great athlete his Dad is coach or was assistant coach for the Trojans, but is Superintendent for neighboring school not knowing for it,s winning ways. They did have girls on there soccer team though that actually went to Korey Hall,s alma mater played soccer for the Bears. None of the Bliss Bears in recent years went to Hall,s alma mater to play football. Players Dad pretty prominent in IHSAA. Friend of mine bro is principal at Burley but since they are joint school district adminiatrtor can,t coach do to conflict of interest. But have superintendent of one school coaching another. Unlikely he will coach against kids he works with though. Like our us bball coach did in Olympiads coached against some of his players on his team.

I watched Larsons shot on mobile phone, pretty exciting for Devil fan. Dawg ran not so.

Swimmers alma mater beat us, we came close a few times, but assistant coaches kid, guy with same last name as formerRicks and BYU hoops terms whose Dad and youngest brother played football for Y, and broke rim last week before playing Korey Halls alma mater, same first name as Aggies town, and a couple other players tore it up. We were able to stay in game but couldn't,t get over Hump Ref that has same last name as 19th Presidents first name and lives a hop skip and jump up the road in Senator territory also kicked fan out, of the winning Trojan team. State should be great for boys and girls. Ref apologized for putting us in foul trouble, but the officials didn,t cost us, need to play the game. T,d up coach had some prominent position in ihsaa, don,t know if he stil does or not. Kid can run.

The tourney was fun. Rockland's girls played poorly. They won the first round game over the eventual consolation champs. I thought we should have won by 10-15 but they hit a prayer at the buzzer to send it to overtime and we put them away in OT. We got dumptrucked in the semis by eventual state champ Richfield. Then we played like defeated and listless losers in the 3rd place game on Saturday and were blown out by the Salmon River Savages. Vine's world famous Dietrich squad led by the legendary Acey Shaw rolled to the finals with tough fought victories over "Deary Idaho as Shakespeare would say" and the Salmon River Savages (from the mean streets of Riggins, Idaho where mountain time ends and the future Butkiss Award winner Leighton Vander Esch comes from). However, they were eventually decisively defeated by their tough 4th district rivals from the very famous in Lincoln County Cheese Factory hometown of Richfield, ID. After our semi loss I looked for Grape in the Dietrich fan section but was unable to locate him so I took my clan to PizzalChicken - which is actually really good if you ever find yourself in Boise.

I did visit throughout the Richfield-Council first round game with the former Bishop of the Council ward - he seemed to migrate towards the Rockland's fans...we elect just see each others' high pro glows and away we go! He thinks very highly of the current track coach at Council High.

Both Grape's burg and mine should be back in two weeks for the boys tourney! So we can keep this thread rolling for another couple of weeks. Bulldogs take on Senator Dubois' (vaunted anti-mormon Idaho State Senator in the early 1900's) namesake town where the Clark County Bobcats' are from in the district championship tomorrow evening. If you find yourself in Firth, Idaho tomorrow night come to the Cougar's Den and if you find me hot dog and a coke are on me! GO BULLDOGS!

The old Council bishop was teammate of some Horns that were good athletes at Notus, Chris played in the NFL as well, I had no so good experience with him. There were two 1a conferences in Boise area as well as Magic Valley, we lost a game we shouldn't,t of then superintentent gave us a positive thinking lecture, like people think they will lose a contest before they start.

We got second then thanks to Scottie,s brother who was kind of good friends with neighbor of mine in district lost by two after being ahead most of game. Lost to them three times previously, so had to go to play in game were we got clobbered. Notus was tough but lost in tournament and could not lose and win tournament. Our Confrence some years sub district went to state others had to win one district game to go to state, if you lose three times you don,t deserve to go. Runner up had to win two games to go.

But former council Bishop that played at North Idaho well they beat us by 30 or more we were beat 10 games in 13 days. Or something do to loser out and us losing to Alaska Sled dogs in earlier round, when sup gave us that power of positive thinking lecture. We would rather of had different opponent. Then everyone expected Notus to win but Murtaugh took state that year.

Dawgs made it to state will have a tough opponent in Genesis prep I am sure. I tried watching that game. Sound went in and out. Tonight Devils should go to state, 2 berths this year will it be Tiges, Panthers, or Lions to join.

In Rc,s village I guess a few Highland and Madison students went at it after the game. That was close game don,t know if Rc was there or not.
