  • Screw you, DH, I'm starting a new thread

I have no idea where to put this, and there's enough discussion material to warrant its own thread (if you can get past the clickbait title):

I appreciate the contrarian vibe but it would be somewhat helpful if you could clue in the reader as to what your thread or post is going to cover.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Is it ironic that ER admonishes the reader of this thread to avoid click baits, when his title is essentially click bait material?

        Yes. Well, no.

This is something our IT department has trained me to avoid.

I liked a few of the renderings quite a bit (the rotating despots, the Facebook periscope and--I'm not proud of this--the defecating cat, which evoked an LOL from me and a rebuke from Mrs. PAC), but didn't understand a couple. I also thought a few were a bit facile in the point they were trying to make.

Let's merge this with the NcNaughton thread!

Edit: I should clarify that the reason my LOL got a rebuke from my wife is that it occurred during Gospel Doctrine.

I thought the grim reaper playing a video game in front of the heart monitors was interesting. Cardiologists compare coronary intervention to a very high-stakes video game all the time. You stare at a screen for hours trying to achieve something, often trying to do part of the procedure is difficult and frequently reminds me of trying to beat a final boss in a video game. I would call that picture "Incompetent Interventional Cardiologist".

The fishhook in the alcohol bottle is a good one for Mormons.

The political ones are lame, McNaughton territory for sure.

Yeah, some are facile, for sure (although McNaughton territory? Cmon...). A couple that I thought were effective were the ladder, the rotating dictator, and the Facebook ones.

I did think of you, cardiac, on the video game one.
