Any public school parents defend there decision on line?

Seems like many home school parents go to Facebook or on there blogs and go on and on of how there kid is getting a superior education in art, music, shake sphere, field trips, astronomy or whatever. And I am doing it at home. Is that to defend there decision? And I prayed about it. Another form of validation to a descion you already made. Maybe it is out of tradition or norm to homeschool why people to defend it.

Who says teachers no more than me, my kids need grate friends I cannot provide, and will be out of my hair for a few hours everyday? Can be involved in activities I can't provide. Why don,t public school parents get online and defend there decisions?

I defend my decision to send my kids to public school by the way that I ignore people who trumpet homeschooling as the only way to be. Most of the (white) members in our ward with school-age kids have decided that homeschooling is a good idea. Sadly, many (but not all) of them are too stupid to realize what a bad idea that is. One of them is using a curriculum based on the Book of Mormon. We get regaled with its nobility of spirit every Fast Sunday. I have started writing poetry during those meetings.

As I sit here listening
To claims of certain knowledge
I'm reminded once again
Of why I went to college

I called that one "Hard to Kick Being a Judgemental Prick."

I will neither admit nor deny that my daughter attends a private school but let me simply say 'thank God' I live in a neighborhood without grease-stained driveways and old cars parked out in front.
