While I think your sentiment is too American centric, there is truth to the idea that this group of countries (Russia, Iran, NK, China etc) are sowing instability. But they are doing so because that is the only weapon they have. They really have no tangible ideas or services to offer the world (outside of oil, although I understand China is more complicated). They don't offer an economic structure that ensures wealth. They don't have a cultural tradition that benefits society at large. Their identities are countering the West. They don't beleive that Trump will be pro Russia, they just want division as they see it as weakening a portion of the West. But it's target is the West, not specifically the US. They'll take what they can get.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostRussia and North Korea have agreed to mutual defense partnership. I really feel and think we are going to some coordinated chaos from these fools as we get closer to the election, and after, especially if it is contested.
Create chaos and go after long established military goals, weaken Biden and make us look like unreliable partners to our allies.

It could make Biden look weak and be up for reelection against a backdrop of a world more at war than ever in my lifetime. I hope I'm wrong.Originally posted by BlueK View Post
I don't think any disruption NK and Russia could create helps Trump. He would surely cheer them on because he wouldn't be able to help himself but it would turn off anyone who is still persuadeable.

I agree that Trump is preferred for how destabilizing he is and rashly he acts and how poorly-informed on geopolitics and defense he is.Originally posted by USUC View Post

His personality disordered traits make him more manipulatable.
That is the primary reason they want him to win and will do what they can to help him, but I strongly disagree that he wouldn't be pro-Russia. It was evident in his term. His attacking NATO is harmful, by itself. He has divisive words for every ally but heaps praise on dictators, including Putin in particular.
It was buried under a myriad of other stories regarding Trump's defeat, but he issued last minute orders to withdrawal all troop from Germany and Africa (maybe other places but I don't recall). Fortunately the pentagon slow played enacting those orders.
Germany should sound concerning for obvious reasons but the last few years really point out why Putin would want us out of Africa. Russia and Wagner have toppled several fragile African states, and they aren't done, all of which have strategic importance.
He is also far more likely to have Russia simps in his circle of influence. Russia has been effective at injecting themselves into right wing politics.
And Trump has probably spilled so many secrets, intentionally and clumsily that the damage to our security and diplomatic apparatuses is probably mind-boggling.
