I guess a few Ricks students I refuse to call it BYUI, had there apartments flooded just before flooding do to increased rain. I see that a 30 minute thunderstorm and it gets real wet then dries out 20 minutes later. Typical Deseret Climate. Anyway the bottom floors of some apartments were flooded. So now students are helping clean up which is good. However most of those students and even there parents do not remember a much bigger flood than that. Happened when most students were home for summer except for those that decided to work in Rexburg or attend Summer School, I worked in Rexburg summer after I graduated, even deejayed for free on b-91, Then like most other schools Fall and Winter were big semesters summer not as big, Those students that have to work and bail out water, well it is nothing compared to the flood that happened when I showed up here on earth.

On the desnews website yesterday, this was one of their top stories. It had something in there about the students singing hymns while they were bailing out the water.Originally posted by grapevine View PostI guess a few Ricks students I refuse to call it BYUI, had there apartments flooded just before flooding do to increased rain. My aunt and uncle got hit with water in the basement. They are close to byui and Madison HS."You interns are like swallows. You shit all over my patients for six weeks and then fly off."

I remember some flooding in Chicago when I was there on my mission. We walked through about 3 feet of water on the sidewalk to get to a member's house. There was a viaduct nearby (place where the road tunneled under a bridge) where the water sat at about 2 feet below the 14' clearance sign. We discovered later that there was a semi and four cars under the water there. If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

My wife is a direct descendent of Thomas E. Ricks as well! So Sooner is related to my kids, I can see the family resemblence when my 6 year old starts to whine like the women of Srbrnca.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostHa! I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.
