Also the belief of Mormons, if you take the doctrine that one cannot be exalted alone at face value.

To be fair, we have affordable housing, good jobs, safe communities, and good education in Texas. We also have lower gas prices and lower overall prices (although they are still to high due to inflation). Paxtons issue in Texas isn’t the policies but more so his corruption. The guy is flat out corrupt. He pays off his friends and hides them from the law. He’s basically doing in Texas what Trump does at the federal level, thus it’s no shocker Trump loves him.

It’s mostly virtue signaling. Most people don’t even wear the masks correctly as to make them effective. I do still see a bunch of people in airports wearing N95 masks, which I find fine given the mass of people and they either don’t want to contract a disease or spread a disease.

Impressive interview overall. Seems like he is becoming a more seasoned politician.

Yeah, I would vote for him over Paxton too. But I predict he will get slaughtered in the general election.
He may not win but I don't think he will be slaughtered. It's not like Paxton is popular in general. I don't think you can extrapolate the runoff result to the general election as it was only an 18% turnout of Republicans. The polls right now are even or have Talarico slightly ahead.

The more I read about Paxton the more amazed I am he's even being considered for any office.

Paxton's office spent more than 22,000 hours looking for voter fraud after the 2020 election, finding only 16 cases of false addresses on registration forms out of nearly 17 million registered voters.
