That would be interesting. A few months ago when Trump was making his slams on Sessions he stopped when several Republicans in the Senate told him to knock it off and that they would refuse to confirm someone else if Sessions got fired. Who knows what the sentiment would be it happened today, although I don't sense that the Senate is any less supportive of Sessions now.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostOf course you know what's going to happen. He'd replace a guy who faced deservedly more accusations of carpetbagging (born and raised in PA, Pitt law school, and practiced law in PA) when he ran in '76, defeating three-term incumbent Frank Moss on a platform that insisted on term limits for Senators. Apparently the limit he had in mind was seven terms. Romney has certainly done more for Utah than Hatch had done at the time he ran.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostSo is the carpetbagger RMoney going to run for sure?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.
