  • Colorado Flooding

I'm trying to gather some intel on the flooding impacts in Colorado in preparation for a response. Do you know anyone who lives in the affected areas in Colorado? We're in our initial planning right now, so any information at this point is helpful.

We live not too far away. They sent us home early from church. So I can't say it was all that bad for us. Boulder area was hit hardest, as I have heard.

What highways do you know of that are cut off and have the most damage that are most critical?

My commander on the right is briefing General Grass, the Chief of National Guard Bureau. He's one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. When I saw the camera come out, I had to strategically position my stretch Y.

LTC Turley, on the right, is now the Adjutant General. He'll be a 2-star as soon as the FEDREC order comes through. Right now he's a 1-star. I would not be surprised if he is one day the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, as was General Grass on the left.
