          Even the latest budget should leave a $49 billion surplus.

                  That's a function of the highest tax rates in the nation. Time will tell if they can continue to build their coffers to fund their agenda. Universal healthcare is next, so it will be interesting.

                  • Hostess is taking shrinkflation to a new level. I picked up a package on my layover in DFW yesterday, and the chocolate Donettes were smaller. The package said, "New Look. Same Great Taste". The package of six was 410 calories, down from the normal 560.
