    That smell?

    That's sulfer, Hugo, that's sulfer.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Too bad he died before Rodman could meet him.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Its OK. At least Sean Penn met up with him for a nice brunch.

"Today the people of the United States lost a friend it never knew it had. And poor people around the world lost a champion," says Penn in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "I lost a friend I was blessed to have. My thoughts are with the family of President Chavez and the people of Venezuela."

"Venezuela and its revolution will endure under the proven leadership of Vice President Maduro," adds Penn.

Penn isn't the only one with words of praise. Several inside Hollywood praised Chavez including the man who played the role of a President for 4 years, Jimmy Carter.

Chavez reportedly is worth a billion. Amazing how well some of these folks do while championing the plight of the poor.

It's the democrats way. Their heroes are rich people turned philanthropists. The trick is to get really rich any way possible and then throw small amounts of your fortune at things like green energy and saving wild hamsters.

I have a theory. I call it the guilt complex. They feel they didn't really earn the riches they have. This is especially true of the Hollywood and TV crowd, including the rich news folks. Add in those who inherit great wealth. They become champions of the poor to solve the guilt.

Contrast that with one who builds companies that employ people. Create products. Grow and expand opportunity for others. They are more likely to be for creating opportunites for others to succeed through their own efforts. They also create foundations to help others and plan on using their money where it can be useful instead of letting the government do it for them.

Of course you can find exceptions of people who have built their own wealth and are liberal, but I will bet they are the minority.

I won't disagree with that. I find it funny that the Hollywood types that laud the income disparity in the US are the ones that live the crazy rich lifestyle. They throw little bits of money here and there as a way to appease their guilt.

Who's going to play him in the Movie?

                            Adam Sandler?

You could make a really dark comedy about human rights issues.

Sean Penn: Last year I went to Iraq. Before Team America showed up, it was a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles.

I wonder if Hugo was as ronery as Kim Jong Il.
