Finally, a politician has the courage to call out bicyclists on their mooching and polluting ways. A Washington state legislator demands that half the posters on CS pay their fair share for tearing up our streets and fouling our skies with their breath.

I think his email does a good job at exposing the threat to our environment posed by heavy-breathing cyclers:

They should also consider a tax on runners for the same reasons, and on Mexican food because of the increased emissions (both CO2 and methane).

He forgot to mention the grease in the bearings and on the chain. That stuff doesn't always get wiped off onto your pant leg. Some of it gets flipped onto the ground.
