    School Teacher with a "disability"

      I know everyone's going to be ridiculing this lady, but what really seems to be going on is that she's suing for failure to accommodate her disability - the article linked to seems to indicate she's been a high school teacher for years. Knowing of her "disability" (which presumably has been diagnosed by a psychologist/psychiatrist, or it wouldn't have become an issue, the school district reassigned her to young kids, probably with the hope she quits over it, because of limits on their ability to terminate her for no reason.

      Yeah, the disability is weird, particularly for a school teacher, but the school district is pretty crappy for doing it this way.

          With "young kids" being middle-school kids, possibly one grade removed from the students she'd been teaching.

              As a non-lawyer you never fill out ADA papers that make it look like you can't do your job even without accommodations. They will ax you right away.

                      This is not a disability.... It is a phobia...
