Again, perhaps you should actually look into things before spouting off:

Palazzo, a Gulf War Marine veteran who has participated in all five of the Honor Flights, blames the White House for making it harder on veterans and playing politics.

Not to mention that these vets were from Mississippi, which is where the Congressman is from. I think he had an obligation to be involved.

As to the minor inconvenience, for people showing up at Yellowstone this week, it may well have been a once in a lifetime trip. I'm not too worked up about it, just saying.

I was in Yellowstone on Saturday. All I can say is that there will be a bunch of mad Japanese folks. I hope VirginiaCoug's party doesn't start an international incident.

Even more indefensible is this whole WWII memorial. Yesterday they put up a single barricade that a bunch of WWII vets and other simply walked around. Today someone in the govt decided to escalate. They'be circled the whole place with minor barricades and tape and have par k personnel on hand. This is an open air monument that was funded by private donations, requires no personnel as it is usually open 24 hours per day, and was not closed during the last shut down. Insane that the admin is doing this when they are probably winning the fight.

So, due to the shutdown, we spend a bunch of government labor to erect barricades to close off a memorial that requires no labor.

I hate political grandstanding. Both sides do it all the time. I like when they're called on it. Maybe ihma whatever is right and these congressmen have been long time participants in this. Or maybe it's a local congressman who was advocating for his constituents. I doubt it though--it smells like grandstanding, the very credible, disinterested, and reliable dailycaller opinion notwithstanding.

A pox "sp" on all of them. The media as if no one knows really ticks me off. If you want to add Fox in there too, go ahead.
Not holding Harry accountable for the things he says and does is totally irresponsible. If they want to point out Ted Cruz is dopey, fine I don't care for his strategy nor his tag along Mike Lee. If Lee if running again I will just abstain. Can't vote for a dem, but I will be danged if I want on my hands he represents Utah.

However, Harry Reid is just as big a dope and he "controls" the Senate. They are talking about how this "embarasses" us to the world. Just having Harry and Nanci in such controlling positions is a complete embarassment. Imagine the Senate in the control of the republicans and Cruz the Senate majority leader.

Also it appears that is was Obama's admin who shut the memorial down, even though he had advance notice that there would be WWII vets who wanted to come through and see the memorial. A special exception was asked for for them and his admin that denied the request.

So who is playing politics with WWII vets?

This all seems more like a political theater than an actual government shutdown. It most likely cost more to put up the barricades. Hehe... Rand Paul called Obama an idiot:

Editor sacked over 'hoax' photos

Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan has been sacked after the newspaper conceded photos of British soldiers abusing an Iraqi were fake.
In a statement the Mirror said it had fallen victim to a "calculated and malicious hoax" and that it would be "inappropriate" for Morgan to continue.

The Queen's Lancashire Regiment (QLR) said the Mirror had endangered British troops by running the pictures.


Roger Goodman, of the QLR, said the regiment now felt "vindicated".


Mr Goodman added: "It is just a great pity it has taken so long... and that so much damage has been done in the meantime."

I do in some ways feel bad for him. For instance he is being canned before getting gun control passed and seeing a English style health system operating fully.
