Yes Joe, Clinton wasn't a great candidate. Given that she spent about $1.5 billion and still lost to Drumpf she wasn't even a good candidate.

BTW, I wonder how much of that billion and half was spent those ugly paint suits?
It's no secret that Biden didn't help Clinton's campaign. He obviously isn't too fond of her and he's also right, she is a bad candidate. She lost because she was really bad at campaigning and she's unlikeable.

It's very likely that Biden would have ran for office. However, by the time he had to make a decision, Clinton had gobbled up most of the Democratic campaign superstars and donors and Biden was worried about splitting the moderate vote and paving a way for Bernie to take the nomination. Clinton was gearing up to run for four years and everyone knew it. Biden bit his tongue (well, a little bit anyway since he's on record with some backhanded compliments of Clinton) and decided not to run, thus allowing Clinton to waltz to the nomination. It's too bad because I would have voted for Biden and he likely would have had the sense to visit the rust belt more than a hand full of times...plus, he's likeable.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Let me get this straight... The Dems spent millions on generating demographic data on voters and some 400 pound hacker named Guccifer 2.0 steals it and gives it to some GOP blogger who posts it on his blog. The dems ignore the data they spent millions on and lose the election. Got it.

I love that they call this guy a GOP "operative."

            • Hillary on why she lost the election... the DNC sucks:

Clinton rips DNC: I inherited nothing

Hillary Clinton blasted the Democratic National Committee on Wednesday, saying that she "inherited nothing" from the party after winning its presidential nomination last year.

"So I’m now the nominee of the Democratic Party. I inherit nothing from the Democratic Party," she said during a question and answer session at Code Conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

"I mean, it was bankrupt. It was on the verge of insolvency. Its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong," she recalled. "I had to inject money into it."

Good hell. The state of the democratic party is in worse shape than I thought.

                • I'm fascinated by how similar Trump and HRC are. From my armchair psychiatrist perspective, both have major narcissistic personality disorders, both are inveterate liars, both are miserable excuses for human beings. Deciding which one was better or worse was ultimately a fool's errand and the 2016 election will be an everlasting stain/shame on this country.

Not according to the guy that wrote the DSM definition for narcissistic personality disorder. He said Trump is just an A$$hole. Calling him narcissistic according to the DSM definition would be offensive to people with the actual mental health disorder.

It was one guy who served on the DSM committee. Trump is a narcissist, but there is always a caveat with diagnosing mental illness. That is, are the symptoms impacting the person's life in a negative way. His point was Trump isn't suffering because of his symptoms and it wasn't impeding the life he wants to live. I also think the guy didn't want to give Trump a pass by pathologizing the fact he is an asshole and a bad person. If someone engages in OCD rituals but it doesn't cause them distress or financial hardship or harm relationships, than you wouldn't diagnose it formally. BFM is right though, Hillary and Trump (and perhaps the majority of polictians) have narcissistic personalities.

This comes as no surprise, but I think Trump is a lot worse. Hillary wouldn't damage the NATO alliance or threaten trade wars with friendly nations and important partners.

I do not like Hillary and I voted for McMullen.

Allen Frances was the chair of the task force that produced the DSM IV. He was very clear that Trump doesn't fit the classification for mental illness. I agree with what you're saying about him being an megalomaniac and having a narcissistic personality. It doesn't change the fact that he is an asshole. It just doesn't appear as if his assholery can be blamed on a diagnose-able mental illness.
