NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Millions of Americans are expressing their resentment and outrage at being put in the appalling position of siding with the Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, a state of affairs that many are calling “intolerable.”
“Never in a million years did I envision a situation where I would be on the same side as Megyn Kelly,” Tracy Klugian, of Butte, Montana, said. “Now that I find myself in just such a situation, let me say this: it’s horrible. Truly horrible.”
“Putting people through the ordeal of siding with Megyn Kelly could be the worst thing Donald Trump has done in this campaign,” Jervis Kentwell, of Norwalk, Connecticut, said. “I know he thinks he’s invulnerable or whatever, but it’s hard to see him recovering from this.”"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? I started thinking a while ago she was getting quite full of herself. However, the pictures Trump tweeted out of her yesterday made me reconsider and think she has a right to be full of herself.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostEverytime I see Megyn Kelly I think of that poster, "No matter how gorgeous someone is, there's a guy somewhere tired of putting up with her shit". The GOP is very unwise. Do you see the Dems cannabalizing themselves? Competition is healthy and the American way. CNN and MSNBC were all over what a huge deal it was Trump was skipping the debate and how FOX was blowing it. Of course they had some dissenters from that opinion so let's say it was 70/30 Trump is winning this win.
LA Times headline today. Something to the effect Trump dropping out hurt Fox's ratings. Well, the viewership was higher than the last debate they put on that had Trump in it. Viewership was something like 12.5 million. Trump's competing event, for a good cause it must be said, drew a bit over 3 million.
So would the ratings be higher if Trump had been in. I think so, but it wasn't the catastophe Trump said it would be.

lol. Dumbest party ever. Clear studies showing that if Romney had the latino support McCain had he'd be the President right now. What does the GOP do? Doubles down on this Sheriff Joe shit. Good move. That's probably why both Cruz and Trump are projected to lose to Hilary and Rubio's not.Originally posted by Topper View PostThe GOP is very unwise. So does the Hillary campaign survive what the email scandal is becoming?
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/01/29/official-some-clinton-emails-too-damaging-to-release.htmlThe intelligence community has now deemed some of Hillary Clinton’s emails “too damaging" to national security to release under any circumstances, according to a U.S. government official close to the ongoing review.
The intelligence community has deemed some of Hillary Clinton’s emails “too damaging" to national security to release under any circumstances, according to a U.S. government official close to the ongoing review. A second source, who was not authorized to speak on the record, backed up the finding.
The determination was first reported by Fox News, hours before the State Department formally announced Friday that seven email chains, found in 22 documents, will be withheld “in full” because they, in fact, contain “Top Secret” information.

Who knows, but just expect a continual stream of leaks as long as she's running. There seems to be plenty of material.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostSo does the Hillary campaign survive what the email scandal is becoming?

And also take note that there's a part 2 to this while affair. The FBI expanded their investigation into corruption by the Clinton Foundation.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

The DoJ said that there aren't any plans to indict Clinton. Of course they'll say that right now. But if Hillary loses Iowa and then New Hampshire, I wonder if the DoJ will issue a death blow to the Clinton campaign and open this thing up to a grand jury. Maybe they'll decide they have a better chance with Sanders.
The other thing is, prosecuting a SoS is pretty big deal and they may be waiting for things to become overwhelming. Is there's some kind of quid pro quo involving the Clinton Foundation and a favor performed by virtue of her position, I can't imagine how the DoJ continues to ignore her.Part of it is based on academic grounds. I want to make sure I understand this: The DOS, in reviewing e-mails from Clinton's private email server, concluded that seven strings are so top secret they cannot be released, even if heavily redacted, without compromising national security. Correct? Is that not an admission, by Foggy Bottom, that she broke the law? What am I missing here? How can this square with her various explanations? Seriously, this is an honest question: Do I have this right?PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I like Kasich and think he would be among the best of the current crop as president. His distracting style and all-over-the-map manner, though, make me wonder how well he can perform in the nomination process and, if applicable, the general election.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostKasich now 2nd in the NH RCP composite.

I think he'll be a strong front runner for the VP slot. He's from Ohio and is popular there, he's experienced (especially in terms of the budget), and has really no big negatives. He's not a great presidential candidate, although I think he'd be a great president and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.Originally posted by Pelado View PostI like Kasich and think he would be among the best of the current crop as president.
