Ted, you need to think more like a lawyer. Ok, you don't need that. No one needs that. But it helps to do so when reading stuff like this. His statement that the tap was not directed at the campaign is absolutely true in the sense that it was directed at Manafort as an individual. That it happened to coincide with Manafort's tenure as Campaign Manager and that it certainly included recordings of campaign conversations between Manafort and Trump, which of course would never have been shared with Clinton or Wassermann-Schulz or anyone like that, is just coincidence.

Sort of. As the article suggests, that was a statement made by underling prosecutors (not Mueller) to Manafort in the wake of an aggressive search of Manafort's home and, at that point in time, may have been just to intimidate Manafort to cooperate more fully. They also didn't say the basis for the indictmnet, AFAIK.

Ted, Assange is not a credible or objective source. Whether he is in bed with the Russians (I think he is) or just has a hard on for damaging the US, he isn't the paragon of truth he pretends to be. He's certainly less objective than the mainstream media that folks on the right like to demonize.
