Actually, the Democrats would only need 25 GOP Congressmen in the House.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostI wish that were the case. Hatch has really lacked leadership and political courage as of late. I don't see the House doing anything. Gerrymandering has bred a more hyper-partisan congress than previous ones.
As Maximus said, the hard part is the House. I think the votes in the Senate would be there provided Trump actually does something impeachable.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

LOL at all the posters who assured everyone that Trump was unknowledgeable about the world but at least he would surround himself with smart people.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I hope so. It's clear that some GOP senators aren't going to kowtow to Donnie's orders. I wish anyone of them were president elect.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostActually, the Democrats would only need 25 GOP Congressmen in the House.

The lack of evidence seems tailor-made to ensure that the Congressional investigations will continue into the foreseeable future, despite any proof that Russia "hacked" the election. The CIA has already framed the narrative (much like the Iraq WMDs) and now everyone will set out to prove what is already "common knowledge". History repeats itself.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThankfully, not all Republican leaders have turned into Trumpologists (like some posters here).

As I mentioned previously in my critique of the six-month long FBI investigation, the allegations have already been investigated and nothing came of it. Real security threats were not given the resources they required because of this wild goose chase. And so the circus continues.
McConnell is wrong. We can be friends with Russia. You're actually pretty funny when you aren't being a complete a-hole....so basically like 5% of the time. --Art Vandelay
Almost everything you post is snarky, smug, condescending, or just downright mean-spirited. --Jeffrey Lebowski
Anyone can make war, but only the most courageous can make peace. --President Donald J. Trump
You furnish the pictures, and I’ll furnish the war. --William Randolph Hearst

If you don't buy into the anti Trumpers hysteria, then you are a Trump apologist. Hey that's better than being called a racist, so maybe they aren't quite as emotionally lit up about this as they were.Originally posted by creekster View Posti'm trying to think of anyone here who is a Trump apologist.

The Ruskies have never been friends although Obama said they were a threat any more... Now the Ruskies have taken Obama for a wimp and walked all over the USA."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Yeah, no kidding... There are all kinds of people running around claiming that the Ruskies hacked everything based on hearsay (and a lot of it sounds conflicting) without any actual evidence.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostOther posters have morphed into full on 911-truther/Alex Jones type conspiracy theorists. Have you ever thought that there are a lot of genuine concerns that come attached to Trump that justify outrage? He refuses intel briefing because he is "smart." You know I like you, so I'm not being insincere when I say this: I get the impression from your posts that you expect all criticism of Trump to be manufactured or exaggerated before examining it.Originally posted by byu71 View PostIf you don't buy into the anti Trumpers hysteria, then you are a Trump apologist.
