Sure, but I don't care. Even the most hyperbolic anti-Trump statements are pretty much redundant at this point. His campaign is the biggest dumpster fire in modern political history. They will be studying this one for a long time.

It isn't a dumpster fire because he is Hitler like. It is a dumpster fire because he is an idiot with no filter. It finally caught up to him. I am astonished it took this long.

When he announced, I thought it would be short lived. Last December, I thought that while he was leading in the polls, his lead wouldn't last when people actually voted in the primaries. When he won a couple of primaries, I thought that when the field of Republican candidates narrowed, the horror show would be over. Now, after all this time, some video comes out where he says truly terrible things and now his campaign is sunk. Truly, I am left scratching my head. How can this be? Did this surprise anyone? I guarantee BJ Clinton talks the same way and it wouldn't come at any surprise (though some amusement, I suppose) if video leaked of him doing so. It is who these dudes are. You shouldn't need a video to confirm that.

While promising to throw an opponent in jail does sound a lot like a dictator, this may be one of the only cases in which the opponent actually deserves it. MBN agrees with me.

Now we have a candidate who is vowing to use the machinery of the oval office to circumvent that decision and get a political opponent thrown in jail.

Let's not forget that she was Secretary of State when that whole phony bull shit about the video being the cause of Benghzi was being thrown around, and the video maker was actually thrown into prison. Let's not forget BJ Clinton bombing Serbia to take attention away from the Monica Lewinski problems? How about firing government employees so that you can give those jobs to your friends? How about taking in millions of dollars for your "foundation" while granting special access to your position as Secretary of State from the same individuals giving your foundation millions of dollars?

This is seriously crossing the line. This comment does not seem called for or is necessary. I don't agree with BYU71 on his politics all that much but this response is just childish and mean. Is there some history between you two that I am not aware of? Why so personal?

And a thoroughly politicized Department of Justice who undoubtedly told the FBI Director they wouldn't bring charges. Look at what happened to David Petraeus.

That said, I don't disagree that the rhetoric was inappropriate given the context. Threatening life and liberty reprisals to political opponents if you prevail is third world stuff. But don't try and pretend that Hillary's conduct would have been given a pass under different circumstances.

Classic, JL. Use a logical fallacy, then when called on it, rather than actually using logic to make your case, you bail. It's cool. I can understand why you can't vote Trump....I can't either. Where we disagree is you can't understand why some view Hillary as bad a candidate.

I'm not so sure the public would agree that that rule of law brought about that result. Perhaps it was Bill Clinton having a chat with the AG in the back of a plane, or President Obama leaning on the head of the FBI to protect his party member.
