“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”
I get the Trump hate, but I'm at the point where the whole dictatorial ruler schtick has jumped the shark. This is just plain fear mongering, similar to what hte right tried to do with Obama when they claimed he'd take away all the guns and redistribute the wealth. There's plenty to hit Trump on in during the election cycle without making up fear mongering statements.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't understand what you're saying. That was a real quote given by a somewhat prominent member of Trump's team.

That was the funniest post of the week. Thanks, moli.

I think the takeaway here is that both hyperbole and parody are impossible when it comes to Trump. You can't top what he or his supporters say just about every day.

Wasn't it said by an African American woman, Amarosa? Do you think it is because she is black and a woman that Trump has her as only a "somewhat" prominent member of his team and not a prominant member of his team?

          • Ted Cruz is endorsing Trump.

The one big knock on Cruz is that he always has been self-serving. When he aimed both barrels at Trump earlier in the campaign (i.e. "he is a pathological liar") and then refused to endorse Trump at the convention, it seemed like he was actually showing some integrity. And now a few weeks before the election, he reminds all his detractors exactly why they do not support him. Whatever, dude. Good luck in your next campaign.

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

OUCH. I think this endorsement kills Trumps chances of getting your vote.

Cruz was my second least favorite candidate running in the Republican primary.

Oh crud. Now JL has a whole nazi vampire genre to explore in this thread.
                Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

One of the things I hated about Trump is that he made me cheer for a scumbag like Ted Cruz. Oy vey.

Ha, yeah that was the last straw.

I'm not sure where I would have placed Cruz in my list of least favorite republican candidates, but he was pretty close to Trump. Which makes me embarrassed to admit I was even contemplating supporting him before he dropped out.

                    • Not to pile on when this has been a painfully embarrassing day for Cruz, but it's Cruz, so I'll pile on:

                      • Maybe the best part of the Cruz endorsement is Glenn Beck's reaction. Looks like he's ready to build that bunker.

                            • I don't know how this isn't a bigger story? Trump's foreign policy guy has been in constant contact with the Russians. I'm sorry but this is a way bigger scandal than Benghazi. It should be reason enough for rational people to vote against Venkman's hero.

                              • Ha, when I heard that the Hitlery team was bringing Mark Cuban to the debate to somehow rattle The Dump, I wondered if the Dumpteam would respond by bringing in one of Bill Clinton's past conquests.

Gennifer Flowers says she will attend debate as Donald Trump’s guest
