That's a huge case, RC. It has been featured on several TV programs (20-20, etc.) and has been documented in several national publications.

I thought Hacking killed his wife to cover up the fact that he didn't get accepted to UNC medical school, not to avoid divorce.

I guess the point is that he chose murder over letting his secret get out. Not much different from this guy, IMO.

He had lied about graduating from the U, lied about getting accepted to medical school and when he found out that she had called the medical school to see if he had really been accepted, he killed her so she couldn't expose his lies.

I'd say he's more evil than nuts.
