You Romney believers should start coming out of your mania --- actually, there aren't many true Romney believers; they are, at heart, just Obama haters. So anyway, you should probably start preparing for another four years of Obama. The odds that America loses are much greater with a Romney victory than with an Obama one.

My take. Clinton is a great politician. I am not a fan of politicians, but will admit many are.

I don't have that aw crap feeling of, they are going to do it again. Sure if I watch the pundits I can see why folks like Levin think it is over. However, not many people really pay attention to the pundits anyway.

This is going to be about job reports and the economy and not platitudes from current or ex politicians.

I think Biden and Obama unquestionably fired up the base, as Levin's post demonstrates. The delegates in the hall clearly ate it up.

But I suspect the fire will dampen beyond liberal borders. The message, "Yeah, I didn't do so hot, but give me another chance" just isn't that appealing. I certainly don't feel the impending sense of doom that I felt in 2008.

So Slick Willy convinced you that Obama has been a good president these past four years, and that he'll do a good job as the chief executive this time around even though he has no history of running anything, much less doing it particularly well? The fact that the polls are this close w an incumbent running (who is shitting pants b/c he doesn't have near the money in the campaign coffers to match Romney in the homestretch) does not bode well for Obama. Also, the fact that the incumbent has to run on his awful record is bad for him as well. The speeches at the pep rally are energizing, but who is watching? Swing voters? Hardly.

Also, hot air? What was more hot air than the fuzzy terms Hope and Change four years ago? Pointing to the subterranean economy/looming debt and setting forth tangible proposals is the Republicans' hot air? I think Obama outdid himself this year with the even more blurry motto, 'Forward,' and qualifies as the hottest air this year.

I think the reason you see so many Obama haters is because, when faced with a recession and runaway budget spending four years ago, as every DNC speaker has reminded us (Thanks a lot, Bush admin.), he rolled up his sleeves and stuffed trillions more tax dollars down the toilet (When has Keynesian economics ever failed us before??? Didn't see that one coming!). Oh but he did kill Osama, as every DNC speaker has reminded us (thanks for that military Intelligence spending, Bush Admin). He wants four more years?
