He should have taken his retainer out before shooting that ad. These are the types of rookie mistakes we don't expect from Chuck Norris.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Well, you might be able to trade culture, architecture and history for strip malls and stucco.Originally posted by Maximus View PostCB was saying that they might move to (China, Canada, Brazil) if Obama is reelected.
So obama is liberal and you want to move somewhere more liberal to escape him? sounds fun.
All things being equal governmentally and economically, it would make sense to me to move to a place that has a richer culture.

According to Wikipedia, Canada's highest marginal tax rate is 29%, which is lower than the US.Originally posted by Maximus View PostCB was saying that they might move to (China, Canada, Brazil) if Obama is reelected.

Brazil's is 27.5%. but they do have an additional 20% value added tax.
Let's see in Utah. State 7.5%, federal 35%, sales tax 5% (?). My gosh that is 47.5%. Same as Brazil.

I get that people don't agree with Obama's Politics. His stance on gay marriage, taxation, health care, etc.
What I don't understand are those who have become so extremely jaded that they equate Obama with some sort of presiding monster. "He'll take away your guns", "he's not an American", and now "he'll usher in 1,000 years of darkness."
How in the hell did we get here?

I just getting my Canadian Citizenship - or rather, since they changed their law in 2009 (?), it turns out I've actually been a Canadian Citizen my whole life. I applied for a Canadian Passport to prove my Canadian Citizenship just in case it ever becomes expedient to actually move there.Originally posted by Maximus View PostCB was saying that they might move to (China, Canada, Brazil) if Obama is reelected.

My wife and I also own a large home in Germany, one that produces significant income that is unfortunately denominated in Euros.

I don't think it is really Chuck Norris. The real Chuck Norris isn't scared of anything.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostHe should have taken his retainer out before shooting that ad.
