Ford in 1975 compared to Obama in 2009

Gerald Seib (for those who don't know) writes the "Politics and Policy" column in the Wall Street Journal. He's usually pretty much down the middle, or seems so because half the time I disagree with him. Anyway, this seems like a good analysis that describes what seems to be happening. I do not think Obama will allow prosecutions or encourage any fact-finding commission. He's no fool, and doing either would be a major distraction from what he wants to do.

Then again, he hasn't checked with me about what to do. That lack of consultation with me is one reason he upsets me so . . . .

"God made the angels to show His splendour - as He made animals for innocence and plants for their simplicity. But men and women He made to serve Him wittily, in the tangle of their minds."
-- Robert Bolt, A Man for All Seasons

Odd. He calls me all the time. He doesn't follow my advice, but at least he calls.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Either you're lying or have never had a good back rub.
