  • OK, someone has to know this guy

    http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/54...tml.csp?page=2

The trib shows pix of him with pretty much every known conservative politician. Greg Peterson, 37, I guess is single? Looks like he was active on LDSSO.

Not me. I don't know him.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

          What a sleazy bastard.

I was momentarily worried as he has the exact same name as one of my mission buddies younger brothers - but there are probably 100 Mormons in Utah with that name.

I'm baffled by people who have so many good things in life - apparently a successful business and lots to offer - who are apparently unable to control this kind of behavior. Seems like it has to be pathological given that it's so obviously destructive of his own interests. He can't think he'd keep getting away with it, cld he?

He looks extremely familiar. Does anybody know what kind of business he was involved in (besides sexual predation, of course)? I'm trying to place where I've seen him before.

I'm going to guess financial planning.

GRRRR. Katy linked to page 2. I briefly scanned it and thought "that was an awful brief and scattered write-up on something as major as this".

I do, but now I feel kinda stupid for doing so. Thanks.

I mostly read the ones in my active threads, though I rarely read any posted by LAUte.

FTR, I don't know the man in the article and now I'm glad that I don't.

Oh, I read most of the articles, but none by LA Ute. That goes without saying.

A story about an LDS Republican rapist makes the typical SLTrib.com commenter ecstatic. 900 comments already.

                              Here was an interesting comment:

I can tell you that I met Greg Peterson for the first time 14 years ago, as a student at BYU. He has always been beyond creepy, long before he was established in politics or money. And by 'creepy' I mean that I've never forgotten the man though I've met him only three times (in three different states) because he jarred me to the core with his aura of skeeze. It catches you completely off guard! Although I'm just one of thousands of women he's met in this lifetime and I know he would never remember me (I pray he wouldn't, anyway), he is easily the creepiest man I've ever met. He was not smooth, and he was not appealing in any way. He had no concept of personal boundaries, and was always taking opportunities to touch women without permission. He manipulated girls' feelings of pity or sympathy, I assume to get them to talk to him or go on dates. Maybe he smoothed up his game in the last decade or so, or maybe he chose particularly vulnerable women. Either way, this guy has always been had something wrong with him.
