They couldn't find a blacksmith who knew how to swing a hammer? I hate seeing actors choke up on a hammer after working construction for several summers. Almost as annoying as someone looking with the wrong eye through an ophthalmoscope.

I feel the same way. You choke up like that on a job site and you'll get called all sorts of names. A common one on the crew I worked with was "Pounder" as in "Hey there Pounder, I saw you working on that nail. You gonna pound 'er home or are you just gonna whack it a bit?"
