    Self-deportation, it happening!!!

    Mitt was right after all.

"The largest wave of immigration in history from a single country to the United States has come to a standstill. After four decades that brought 12 million current immigrants—more than half of whom came illegally—the net migration flow from Mexico to the United States has stopped—and may have reversed, according to a new analysis by the Pew Hispanic Center of multiple government data sets from both countries.

The standstill appears to be the result of many factors, including the weakened U.S. job and housing construction markets, heightened border enforcement, a rise in deportations, the growing dangers associated with illegal border crossings, the long-term decline in Mexico’s birth rates and changing economic conditions in Mexico."

Score one for Obama for solving the illegal immigration problem.

Who knew it would occur secondary to economic policy?

Not just Mitt was right about that. Everybody on every side has acknowledged for eons that if the work here goes away, people go home. That's not something Mitt invented.

Yes, what Tim said. Why would people stay at work if they were fired or laid off? I would go home too.

Sounds like the work of an invisible hand to me.

I was joking because of the uproar over Mitt's debate comment, not because Mitt is a genius. I don't think Mitt is the second coming of John Adams so don't feel the need to get all riled up and put me in my place.
