Running for governor of Idaho and most of his politics didn't reflect mine. I guess he did oppose gambling on reservations took heat for that. Told me he opposed abortion too. Conservative in some ways. Did endorse Clinton though. Speech at convention wonder if he was upset with the white men still. To his credit instead of sitting on the reservation moping about injustices he got an education and did something with his life. Listened to SWK. Also I think helped other people do the same thing as well.
Since I am conservative did not vote for him. Only voted for one or two democrats on a state legislative level. Didn't like his policies as AG or governer. Though did some good things as Ag. One of the proffesers at Ricks who was Republican advisor always talked of how bad democratic candidates were in the paper. I think it was Marshall. Will hum ble some people. Will have to sustain him as GA since Lord called him though I didn't agree with all of his political positions.
I do not think he will take the path as fellow Native American George p Lee but stay active and stalwart. Talked to him on street. Shouted insult at tv. Need to be careful there I guess.
