Interesting article I read yesterday...
San Diego spends .44 of every tax dollar collected on pensions of retired employees. Of the top 10 (in terms of money paid out each year) is a retired librarian....pulling down $234,000 a year.
San Jose spends .55 of every tax dollar collected on pensions of retired employees.
Stockton is looking at filing bankruptcy, so they will no longer have to pay the retirement pensions of public employees.
San Diego and San Jose is where most cities are, Stockton is where they are heading.
If I am running for President/Governor, Pension reform has to be one of the highest priorities.
It would appear that the Unions are mobilizing and going to try and turn the San Diego situation into their own "Wisconson".
Yikes.
