Israel is our best friend in the world. More so than the UK. By far. I'd enlist personally to protect Israel.
Do best friends regularly spy on each other and steal each others secrets?

You obviously don't have experience with adolescent girls.

Option 5: Infiltrate and destroy (assassinate) Iran's leadership. I'd wager Israel has most the pieces in place to do this. This may have to be followed up by one of the other options.

You should start a club: Mormons for murder. I'd bet you would find a lot of people to join.

                It was just an option.

I was responding to the person who said they are our best friend. We are a lot better 'friend' or 'ally' to them then they are to us, that is for sure.

That depends on your point fo view. They played a very key role during the cold war as a surrogate for us in various regional conflicts in teh middle east and elsewhere.

THe notion of 'friend' in genreal is poorly applied to geopolitics, iMO.

Israel has a right to defend itself, and I have no problem, at all, with the wall they built.

                      BUT,

They are practicing a species of apartheid, and it's going to destroy them.

I am probably being short sighted, but looking at today it seems we do everything we can and Israel just says we will attack Iran with or without you (even though if we do it alone it will still hurt you considerably and force you into a conflict.)

The wall would be fine, if it were built on the border, but building it in some areas in the middle of Palestinian land, separating villages and people from schools, family, medical services, etc and not allowing to cross is that has made it so bad.

Please tell me you are joking. That has got to be the dumbest post in a long time. Criticizing Israel is not antisemitic.

Second, a symbiotic relationship, even if you are right, has to be between at least two things. If you have gentile ideas and disciplines, then the Jewish side must be the Torah, or the tradition of teaching and learning the Torah in the synagogue.
Oh brother. Technicalities. My point is that the American Jews are us and this complaint about Jews tilting America's allegience too far in Israel's favor is backward and ignorant.

Should it be surprising that we support Isreal? They elect thier leaders, push them out of office when they are corrupt, can pubish and say whatever they want and debate the issues of the day openly and all ovder the country, they have excellent schools and universities, they send their children to be educated in U.S. universities, they listen to music (the Stones, Mozart, Jazz, hip hop, etc.), enjoy and create great works of art and literature, they inovate and lead businesses, they don't strap bombs to themselves and blow up families and children, they don't believe crazy stuff (most of them don't), they abhor totalitarianism. It's not about "Jewish money and influence." It sould not suprise anyone that we support Israel.
