Etch a Sketch is a great toy but a losing strategy. We need a nominee w/ bold conservative solutions. http://Newt.org #RomneyToys

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I'd never vote for Obama. Romney again distorting truth. Obamacare=Romneycare. Mitt is unelectable. http://ht.ly/9QnvK

OK, this is not a tweet, but it is outrageous and amusing. And of course, it comes from Herman Cain:

I wish I could report what Hautecoug just wrote, but it was hilarious.

Almost every modern president's bio at whitehouse.gov has been edited with an Obama reference. Now #ObamainHistory is trending on twitter.

                  wow
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

Slightly amused by liberals on twitter attacking the "bulls**t" poll showing Romney up w/ women. Ah yes, the conservative bias of CBS/NYT...

I read about this this morning. I don't think one can read much more into it then there's some Obama sycophant at the controls of the website. I doubt that some Obama campaign staff member thinks they'll get some political advantage to putting little snippets about Obama continuing Thomas Jefferson's legacy through some odd correlation.

But it's still pretty hilarious and I see a lot of potential for some humor in it.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I'm afraid to read the Jimmy Carter one (screwed up economy, Afghanistan crisis, Iran crisis) unless it ends with him being a one-term president

I'm waiting for the inevitable Kim Jong Il -- Obama correlation in the twitter feed.

Most of the tweets on the Obamainhistory twitter feed are terrible. There are a few gems mixed in.

                              I liked these two:

1959: His warning about the dire economic implications of a new machine, the ATM, go unheeded.

Obama sends a recorded message to the troops on D-Day telling them what a terrible political risk he's taking.

It's a proven fact that government creates jobs. As long as the governments are in California & Illinois, and the jobs are in Texas.
