Question for the lawyers. Apparently the passenger took a picture of this guy viewing the child pornography and then sent it to a relative. The relative forwarded it on to the Boston PD. My question is couldn't the passenger be in trouble for child porn trafficking also?

Probably a moot point, as nobody is going to prosecute them. May be an intent issue there depending on the statute, which I haven't read.

It's reliant on his intent. I imagine he sent it to his relative so the relative could contact the police. That's not exactly something you email to someone with a subject line "LOL! Check this out!"

EDIT: The article makes it very clear that the other passenger's intent was for his relative to contact the police.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Also, who at Garbett Homes decided to use Ricki Lake in their ads?

This seems to be a problem with Mormon family men who are professors at Universities in Utah.

Wow, butt hurt much? You go back and post a story over 5 years old because the uncle pervy in CA's thread happens to be a Utah prof?

People are people and no organization is immune from pervs. Some groups self select and so you might see more pervs in one group than another, but they will almost always be there. Sad, but true. Mormonism is no different in that regard than other groups, religious or not. So whether some mormons BYU prof did something similar is not an indictment of mromonism or BYU, but of the person. At least until the point it becomes a commom occurrence.

Something about all of this doesn't seem quite right. I'd make a good juror in this case because it seems a little too too much.

This is a strange story. I've seen a lot of people watching movies on flights, never porn. Watching child porn on a flight is taking it to the next level. I wonder if the guy wanted to get caught in order to get help?

I agree with you on this one. Just seems odd.

Suppose his computer had a virus and it just started to display porn. What would be the first thing I would do? Delete the porn and try to remove the virus.

Now, contrast the reactions in this case with the Penn State debacle. It just highlights how fucked up the PSU thing is and why anyone that didn't act in the PSU case deserves all the bad shit flying their way, and probably more besides.

I'm guessing that's what happened. My TV does that all time, when it just starts turning itself to Cinemax late at night.
