Occupy Cafe Rio

From my experience, where I basically ordered two burritos with 'the works,' the Chipotle burrito has a lot more stuffed inside. All of that stuffing includes lettuce, beans, rice and sauce. My point is this -- I think the Chipotle burrito, in terms of contents, is easily the equivalent of a wet Cafe Rio burrito. Accepting that the two products are basically made of the same sorts of ingredients, can we agree that a cost/ounce would be a fair comparison?

I'm not sure we can agree on that, unless you're willing to include the "free" sides in the weight of the Cafe Rio burrito.

Plus, I'm not inclined to trust your "experience" with Cafe Rio, since you've only been there one time.

Acceptable. Will you be weighing the Cafe Rio burrito in its tin? You might have to get a spare tin to figure its weight and subtract it from the total.

Exactly. Though having served my mission in Denver, Chipotle has a soft place in my heart. I knew about Chipotle before McDonald's invested heavily in them and there was one in every city. I used to eat at the original one at Evans and Gilpin often as a missionary. The Chipotle's in Denver were always packed. At lunch lines would be out the building and down the sidewalk. I remember telling my dad we need to open a franchise. When I got home from my mission looking into a franchise was one of the first things I did. By then though McDonald's had secured all the franchisees they wanted.

I recently looked into this as well. I has a sweet spot in my town where it would be perect. Right by the HS in walking distance etc. But I found out that the owner only wants to expand hsi franchise without the ability for a person to purchase a franchise. I was sooo bummed..

Then to find out a year later that the location I had my eye on was in fact where they put the new McDonalds.. Then, they closed the old McDonalds (Just down the street still by the HS) and are tearing it down to build a Chipotle in its place...

It is going to be very successful..
