They are rebroadcasting it tomorrow morning on OWN network. Which brings up a good point--IMHO probably the most "famous" woman in the world is either Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey or J.K. Rowling. All intellectual heavyweights.
The larger list would probably include figures from music and movies like Madonna, Celine Dion, Angelina Jolie, and Aishwarya Rai.
Sure, Madonna and Jolie and Rai are sex symbols. But they are also greatly respected for their humanitarian work and business savy. They are all very successful and famous for reasons that go far beyond their tight curves and geometrical faces.
I think a part of being a powerful, empowered woman is embracing sexuality and using it to further yourself. Guys aren't going to stop noticing beauty and aren't going to stop feeling attracted to beauty.
I'm not sure women complaining about other women using their beauty to get ahead and complaining about men getting excited over women's beauty is a step forward for feminism. This is a lost battle--lost to biology.
I haven't seen the show yet, so all this might be off point, but is my reaction to the trailer.
