    ABC news story on buying American

    This subject has come up around here before.

    I thought it was interesting.

    As a nation we collectivly send trillions of dollars overseas for the products we all use.

    What would it do for our own economy if we spent those dollars on American made products? Can it be done without spending twice as much?

    What even is buying american anymore? The american product you're buying? Raw materials from brazil and angola. Finishing done in china and mexico. Engineering done in india. Assembly and testing in america.
