    Obama: Ass-kicker-in-chief

Democrats get a bad rap from right-wing hawks, but Obama has been a serious ass-kicker, with both Osama and Qaddafi falling under his military leadership.

Agreed, hasn't been an ass-kicker this great since Madison took out Napoleon.

And not just pirates! He's deported more illegals than Bush, but sadly has cleared much less brush than Bush or even Reagan. And Cheney is still up 1-0 on shooting americans in the face.

I think Clinton shot at least one American in the face!

Poor marksmanship. He aimed for the face and hit the blue dress.

It IS possible, however, that he donkey-punched a few in the face...

p.s. ironically he may very well be to the RIGHT of many of the up-and-comers in the R party...

And now he's killed another Al-Qaida #2. I realize this doesn't count for much. I think this is #2 number 19 spread over two administrations. Geez, who'd take that job?

The path to bin Laden’s death didn’t start with Obama

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah the Obama-as-ass-kicker narrative is hilarious.

With some trying to turn bin Laden’s death into a campaign talking point for Obama’s reelection, it is useful to remember that the trail to bin Laden started in a CIA black site — all of which Obama ordered closed, forever, on the second full day of his administration — and stemmed from information obtained from hardened terrorists who agreed to tell us some (but not all) of what they knew after undergoing harsh but legal interrogation methods. Obama banned those methods on Jan. 22, 2009.
                      Awkward. How do Obama-philes reconcile?

My cousin who has spent most of the past six years with special forces in Afghanistan says that the quality of intel has declined massively in the past three years and I've heard echoes of this from other parts of the intel world.

Yes, because as Mr. Rodriguez pointed, Obama thinks it's more humane to kill the suspected terrorists and their innocent friends and family members with predator missiles from drones rather than capture them and mine them for real intelligence.

Chris Kyle, a former SEAL sniper with 160 confirmed and another 95 unconfirmed kills to his credit, said: ‘The operation itself was great and the nation felt immense pride. It was great that we did it.

‘But bin Laden was just a figurehead. The war on terror continues. Taking him out didn’t really change anything as far as the war on terror is concerned and using it as a political attack is a cheap shot.

‘In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.’

First, lets make sure your source is reliable. You say that your cousin is spending time with special forces. In what capacity? How is he in a position to assess the quality of intelligence, and what training has he received in assessing the quality of intelligence?

Second, and this is the easy one, your argument hinges on a BASIC logical falacy -- post hoc ergo propter hoc. Just because something happened first does not necessarily mean that something that happened after was the result of the first thing. The implication of your argument is that the end of 'harsh but legal interrogation tactics' has resulted in the 'massive decrease in the quality of intelligence in the last three years.' But most intelligence isn't gathered via harsh interrogation. IF there has been a 'massive decline' in intelligence, it does not follow that this has been the result of Obama's choices regarding the use of 'torture.' A different explanation could simply be that Afghan civilians have lost confidence that the representatives of the U.S. government can help them, and therefore they are not sharing as much useful intel.

There are many other possible explanations. If someone wanted to present some evidence for any of these explanations, that would be cool. It would be cool if you would present some evidence for your explanation too.

                              LOL!

So Obama is claiming Romney wouldn't have gotten Osama while at the same time Obama is the reason the intelligence arm that got Osama is shut down? Good thing Obama only came into office in 2008 or we really wouldn't have gotten Osama.

I didn't find the ad offensive at first and still don't really, but now I just find it purposely misleading.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes.
