    Wow - where are you seeing that reported?

    I just hopped from Drudge to the Daily Caller to Politico and don't see it yet. Interesting. He clearly wasn't going to make it, but it is a surprisingly early exit. I think he'd be a valid VP choice for some candidates (maybe Perry) but not for Romney who can't afford to have two stiff, boring white guys on his ticket.

      Pawlenty campaigned very hard but did very poorly against Bachmann and Paul. It seems he is just cutting his loses.

          A smart move by Pawlenty. He's realized early that he won't get the support he needs, so there's no need to waste money on a fruitless campaign.
