Haha, cause I would think about it.

Yes, it is terrible here. Jerry forces me to watch the cowboys. I even have to wear a cowboys shirt to go out in public. Save yourself.Originally posted by YOhio View PostThis makes sense. Honestly, I used to be a Cowboys fan when I was a kid. It was that age when you FIRST start caring about sports? You know, when suddenly your friends know a few names, a few stats and such, and now picking a team to follow gives you a little street cred and there is no more logical team to pick than the recent Super Bowl champs? Yeah, that was me.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostYes, it is terrible here. Jerry forces me to watch the cowboys. I even have to wear a cowboys shirt to go out in public. Save yourself.
Then I became the kid who rooted for the NEXT super bowl champs, and justified that move because of the Mormon QB. Then I learned what a bandwagon fan was, and I didn't want to be that, so even though da 'boys won the next year again, I stayed with the Niners. Felt like a loser ever since.

Danny White is a mormon QB too. He use to be in our stake a long time ago. Last I heard he was going to be coaching some AFL team in Utah or something."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

No!"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yes, Abraham O. Smoot and I were given the choice of going to Provo, going to Texas, or going to hell. Smoot picked Provo. I picked Texas which is a bit warmer than hell this time of the year.Originally posted by BlueHair View PostDoes anyone live in Texas by choice?"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I'd live in East Texas, near the coast, but not Houston (too many people). Texas has a lot going for it, and I'm hispano."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

Technically I don't live in Houston so you could live by me. Honestly, I prefer Texas over every place I've lived, which isn't saying much, although if I were retired I'd prefer France."Discipleship is not a spectator sport.
