Actually, the nationality of the guy in the photo is irrelevant as it relates to the point of my post. I just wanted to post a pic of a sumo wrestler so there wouldn't be any confusion as to the sport I was referring to. That just happened to be the first pic in my search. He could have been a red-headed american for all I cared.

First, if one of us is an idiot, I've known you long enough and I've certainly known me long enough to know that you're not the idiot of the pair. I'll readily admit that I may not have articulated my point very well, but the reason for my posting the picture was only to avoid confusion as to the sport I was referring to. Nothing more, nothing less. It really didn't matter to me what his nationality was - argue as you will, but you can't change that fact either.

I'm pretty sure the sumo pic was to dispute the statement of yours that you have never seen an obese individual in Japan. 22%. That is more than 1 in 5. Yet you lived there and didn't see one of them. That is impressive.

Also, when you cheer for local sports teams, do you only cheer for teams that are in states with lower amounts of obese people? If so, that's awesome.
