            this isn't the guy that plays the cello outside of the broadway theatre, is it? i had a sandwich with him one day, and he said he comes from a family in the east with money. he was a classically trained cellist, if i remember right.

                      That was my thought too. But maybe the homeless man wouldn't accept help. I would love to know more. I would love for them to do a f/u story in five years to see whether the money made this man's life better.

                        Yeah, it sounded like the family tried to reach out to him but he didn't want to talk to them. But who knows how hard they tried to help him, or if it was just a "hey, if you need anything, here's our number" sort of thing.
