So a small town paper went on how people don't use food stamps that could and food bank will go out. Than says people eligible don't use food stamps. Said they help food bank and grocery store. I don't know how food stamps help the grocery store. MOre money from government. Since grocery store owners pay a higher tax than other people for receipients. It is good people don't use food stamps.
Local paper encourages people to get food stamps.

It must not be a Utah paper because people here are very dialed in to how to get stuff from the government....unemployment, loan modifications, bankruptcy, baby your baby, food stamps, subsidized medical care, etc.
Vote Republican!Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I'm not opposed to food stamps at all. The vast majority of my patients receive benefits. What I wish stamps did is that they were more selective. Food stamps should not be allowed to buy soda, juice, donuts, candy, frozen dinners, etc...
Benefits should be limited to produce, milk, whole wheat bread, pasta, non-sugar cereal, etc...
This would combat obesity in America."Don't expect I'll see you 'till after the race"
"So where does the power come from to see the race to its end...from within"

No arguments here. This is something that is common sense and should happen immediately.Originally posted by doctorcoug View PostI'm not opposed to food stamps at all.
