What's with Cain constantly singing? Does he know this isn't for American Idol?

Dunno. But I'll give him credit for not needing a teleprompter to sing the lyrics.

This cannot be good for Cain.

His best hope was that this story would die for lack of further information, but it looks like it's going to have some legs.

Bennett is calling on the association to waive the agreement so the woman, a federal worker living in suburban Maryland, can rebut Cain’s statements this week that the allegations were false and baseless.

“It is just frustrating that Herman Cain is going around bad-mouthing the two complainants, and my client is blocked by a confidentiality agreement,” Bennett said in an interview. “The National Restaurant Association ought to release them and allow them to respond.”
I don't see how they don't waive the agreement, and then this really takes off.
        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Herb gets the Bad Lip Reading treatment. I think his video is funnier than the ones I've seen for Mitt and Perry:

Cain is now blaming the story on the Perry camp. Cain has also been fairly soundly mocked on both The Daily Show and Colbert. Not that those shows are wellsprings of conservative thought (but, damn, did you see the bit from Stewart on Coulter's racist ramblings?).

Mitt has said nothing and should continue to do so. Cain is going down in flames.

Supposedly this is the kind of stuff Perry is known for -- nasty campaigning. If this is true and he leaked it, it could end up making both campaigns implode.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Whether Perry's camp dug this up or not, it was going to come up at some point. Did Cain really think that he would win his party's nomination without having his settled sexual harassment cases come up? The GOP (and Cain) should be grateful this has come up now, and not after the primary.

Cain is a nutter. It should be the cause of some serious introspection for the GOP that Cain might take this thing over Mitt.

I did indeed. My wife and I watch that and Colbert ever morning while we get ready for the day.

WTF is Donald Trump doing getting involved in this anyway?

The fact that Cain may have asked a subordinate if she'd like some of his sausage in her pie is actually only a secondary concern. Sexual harassment is wrong and I'm all for its elimination, but I'm more concerned with the fact that he wasn't aware that China is a nuclear power, or that he believes in a magical country called Uzbekibekibekibekistanstan.

Say what you will about Jon Stewart's political beliefs, but what a lot of these conservative honks seem to fail to recognize is that Stewart and his writers are smarter and wittier than most of them.

Sheesh, no kidding. Reminds me of Palin.

Romney is running against a bunch of fools. He just needs to sit back and watch them implode.

Cain should change his stance on abortion and this could go away. After all, Bill Clinton sexually assaulted a number of women, but was elected to the office of President.

Sexual harassment of female staff is pretty strong evidence that a candidate isn't gay. This may serve to help Cain in the long run. Who knew that Mitt's marital fidelity would turn out to be a liability?
