    'Start-up Chile'

A friend sent out a going-away party invite this week. He's headed to Chile. His company was accepted to a "Start-Up Chile" program. He gets some funding (non-equity) and a year visa free. Seems like a very innovative program by their government. I hadn't heard of it prior to this week.

Many people think we want to replicate Silicon Valley, we don’t. What we want is to connect Chile to all the major hubs of innovation and leverage this networks to create value. We strongly believe that human capital is the best highway to build upon

They're attempting to import innovation. I like the idea.

Based on their mastery of meaningless buzz words and catch phrases I'd say Chile has surpassed China as the #1 threat to US economic dominance.
There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.

Tila Tequila and Juggalos, America’s saddest punchline since the South.

    Tomorrow is Saturday
    And Sunday comes afterwards
